Whitethorn Morris, Feb 2026

Welcome to the Whitethorn Website

Whitethorn Morris

Whitethorn Morris are a mixed North West Morris side from Watford. The side was formed in 1977 and dances in a characteristic red, white and blue kit. The dances are predominantly from the North West of England, especially Lancashire and Cheshire, and are performed with energy and enthusiasm in inimitable Whitethorn fashion.

We have recently changed to a mixed side and welcome any new dancers and musicians. No previous experience of Morris required. We practise on Thursday evenings at 8pm in St Matthews Church Hall, Watford, WD19 4ST. There is ample parking and the hall is easily accessible by road and rail. The Lioness (Overground) Line and West Midlands Railway both stop at Bushey Station which is 5 minutes walk from the hall.
